Freelance SEO Content Specialist

PUNK MY PIXEL is a London-based digital agency providing website design, creative production, and digital marketing services. We are expanding our SEO offering and are looking for a Freelance SEO Content Specialist to support ongoing client work.

This role focuses on SEO content planning, keyword research, and on-page optimisation, helping businesses improve their search visibility and generate leads.

What you’ll be doing

You will work with our team to create SEO-focused content strategies and optimise website content.

Responsibilities include:

• Keyword research and search intent analysis

• Developing SEO content strategies

• Writing or outlining SEO-optimised content

• Optimising website pages for target keywords

• Creating blog topic ideas and content briefs

• Improving existing content for search performance

• Internal linking recommendations

• Collaborating with designers and developers on content structure

• Supporting local SEO content where required

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience writing SEO-optimised content

• Strong understanding of keyword research and search intent

• Experience with on-page SEO optimisation

• Ability to create clear content briefs and SEO strategies

• Experience using tools such as

  • Ahrefs

    SEMrush

    Google Search Console

• Strong written English and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to have

• Experience writing for local businesses or service-based companies

• Knowledge of WordPress content optimisation

• Experience with local SEO content strategies

• Experience working with digital agencies
